Goddess Gatherings by Sami
Embrace your Divine Feminine at a Goddess Gathering.
Each Gathering focuses on a specific Goddess from around the world, with themes tied to the changing of the seasons. We gather in a sacred safe space open to women and femme folx for Goddess herstory-telling, meditation, ritual and witch-crafting.
Currently, Goddess Gatherings are offered in-person in Connecticut. Some day, I may offer these online, but I have found the energy in-person is much more powerful so for now, they will just be held in-person in Connecticut. If you’re interested in me hosting them online, contact me. I’d love to hear from you!
Brigid Goddess Gathering
Brigid is the Celtic Goddess of fire & water, healing, fertility and childbirth, balance, and creativity. She tends magickal fires and presides over many healing springs. You may know her as St. Brigid of Kildare, one of Ireland's three patron saints. She is a great Goddess to invoke when you are striving to bring more peace, unity, harmony, and balance into your life. We will honor Brigid and invite in her energy as we celebrate Imbolc, the midway point between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. Imbolc marks the beginning of lambing season, the first stirrings of new life, and the Earth beginning to shake off Winter and warm to Spring.
This event is limited to 12 attendees. Please purchase your ticket by January 23.
Date & Time: Friday, January 30, 6-8pm
Location: The Blackbird House | 147 Main Street, Wethersfield, CT.
Mary Magdalene Goddess Gathering
Mary Magdalene, the enigma. Prostitute? Sinner? Wife of Jesus? I grew up Christian, so I love to talk about Mary Magdalene, unpack her story, dive into the patriarchal re-writing of the Bible, and share the Mary Magdalene and Jesus Christ that I know. In this sacred circle, we will release shame with an open heart and love, and rewrite our own stories along the way. Mary is inviting us to do this work and holding us in the process. We gather at Ostara/Spring Equinox to celebrate the arrival of Spring and explore how this ancient holiday is connected to Easter.
This event is limited to 12 attendees. Please purchase your ticket by March 13.
Date & Time: Friday, March 20, 6-8pm
Location: The Blackbird House | 147 Main Street, Wethersfield, CT.
